Privacy policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

In short: Plainbill keeps everything on your phone. We don't collect, store or sell any of your data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app stores, and where

Your shop details (name, phone, address, optional logo and registration number), your settings, and the bills you make are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We have no servers that receive them.

If you uninstall the app or clear its data, all of this is deleted from your phone. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.

Sharing and printing

Your shop logo

If you add a logo, you choose a picture with Android's photo picker. Plainbill copies only that one picture into its own storage so it can print it on your bills. It cannot see your other photos.

Data we collect

None. Plainbill contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code, and it sends no information about you or your device to us or to third parties.

Children

Plainbill is a tool for shopkeepers and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because all your data stays on your own device and is under your control, you can view, change, export (by sharing bills) or delete it at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it. This applies wherever you live, including under the EU/UK GDPR.

Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled (for example an optional paid backup), we will update this page and the date above before that version is released, and the app will ask before anything leaves your phone.
